Her work draws inspiration from her service as a Marine Corps Linguist, her love of video games, a year abroad in Slovakia, her time in nature, and life’s never-ending reminder of memento mori. Her experiences bring both grit and wonder to the page. She previously published chart-topping romcom serials under the pen name Rosaline Woodrow before fully embracing her voice in fantasy. Amlett now writes from her Indiana homestead, where she lives with her husband and three children.
